Özet
Bu tezde, atık bor malzemesinin yol üstyapısında kullanılan bitüm içerisinde modifiye edici olarak kullanılıp kullanılamayacağı incelenmiştir. Bitümün özelliklerinin geliştirilmesi konusunda dünyada her geçen gün yeni bir tez ortaya atılmaktadır. Teknolojinin hızla gelişmesi sonucu bitüm modifikasyonu konusunda yenilikler ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu tezde de farklı bir madde olarak atık bor malzemesinin bitümü hangi özelliklerde ve nasıl etkilediği anlatılmaktadır. Söz konusu malzeme Karayolları Teknik Şartnamesine göre belirli standartlarda ve şartname gereklilikleri altında bazı deneylere tabi tutulmuştur. Bu deneyler sonucunda modifiye bitüm standartlarına uyup uymadığı ve yol üstyapısında kullanılabilirliği belirtilmiştir.
In this thesis, it has been investigated whether the waste boron material can be used as a modifier in the bitumen used in the road pavement. Every day, a new thesis is being put forward in the world about the improvement of the properties of bitumen. As a result of the rapid development of technology, innovations in bitumen modification are emerging. In this thesis, as a different substance, the properties and how the waste boron material affects the bitumen is explained. The material in question has been subjected to some tests under certain standards and specification requirements according to the Highways Technical Specification. As a result of these tests, it is stated whether it complies with the modified bitumen standards and its usability in the road pavement.
