Özet
Dünya nüfusu devamlı olarak bir artış göstermektedir. Bu artış sürecine bağlı olarak, gıda ve hayvansal besin açığı da artmaktadır. Bu açığın kapatılmasında, kültür balıkçılığı önemli bir kaynak oluşturacaktır. Anadolu'nun güneybatısında yer alan Muğla, deniz kıyısı uzunluğu, kara sınırı uzunluğundan daha fazla olan bir ildir. Kültür balıkçılığı yönünden Muğla ili, gerek sayı gerekse üretim miktarı açısından Türkiye'de ilk sırada yer almaktadır. Bu çalışma, Muğla ilindeki kültür balıkçılığının mevcut genel durumunu ve sorunlarının ortaya konulması amacıyla yapılmıştır.
Aquaculture and its problems in Muğla province. World population has been increasing continuously. In line with this increase, the gap between the supply and demand of food and animal products has been also widening. In the closure of this gap, aquaculture will be a vital source. Being on the west of Anatolia, Muğla has a longer coastal border than its land border. Both in terms of number and volume of the fish produced, Muğla takes the first place in our country. This study was carried out to reveal the general situation of aquaculture and its problems in Muğla province.
