Sığacık Körfezi’nde (Ege Denizi) bulunan iki tür köpekbalığının [Galeus melastomus rafinesque, 1810 ve Squalus blainvillei (Risso, 1826)] boy-ağırlık ilişkisi ve beslenme özellikleri üzerine bir ön çalışma

Özet
Bu çalışmada, Sığacık Körfezi’nde dağılım gösteren Galeus melastomus Rafinesque, 1810 ve Squalus blainvillei (Risso, 1826) türlerinin bazı büyüme ve beslenme özellikleri tespit edilmiştir. Galeus melastomus türü için toplam 130 (59?, 51?, 20 juvenil) birey incelenmiş ve türün minimum, maximum ve ortalama total boyları sırasıyla 9 cm, 19 cm ve 14,01 cm (±1,96) olarak bulunmuştur. Minimum, maximum ve ortalama ağırlıkları ise sırasıyla 2,92 g, 22,67 g ve 8,46 g (±4,03) aralığındadır. Squalus blainvillei türü için 135 (57?, 78?) birey incelenmiş ve türün minimum, maximum ve ortalama total boyları sırasıyla 16 cm, 28 cm ve 21,46 cm (±2,21) olarak bulunmuştur. Minimum, maximum ve ortalama ağırlıkları ise sırasıyla 18,64 g, 95,92 g ve 45,64 g (±15,97) aralığındadır. Mideleri incelenen 2 tür köpekbalığının da başlıca besinini Crustacea türleri oluşturmaktadır. Bunu takip eden diğer besin grupları sırası ile Teleostei ve Cephalopoda türleridir.
In this investigation, the growth and feeding characteristics of Galeus melastomus Rafinesque, 1810 and Squalus blainvillei (Risso, 1826) distributed in Sığacık Bay were examined. 130 (59♂, 51♀, 20 juvenile) individuals of Galeus melastomus were examined and the minimum, maximum and mean of total length were determined as 9 cm, 19 cm and 14,01±1,96 cm respectively.
