Özet
Bu çalışmada, geleneksel kültürün korunması, yerel ve kırsal kalkınmanın desteklenmesi, küçük üreticinin korunması ve ürün kalitesinin geliştirilmesi gibi amaçlar bakımından son derece önemli olan coğraii işaretler SorumluYazar konusu incelenmektedir. Öncelikle, uluslararası bağlamda uygulanan coğrafi işaret sistemi ve bu sistem ile FazılAkm OLGUN yaratılan ekonomik değer irdelenmektedir. Ardından, 1995 yılında yayımlanan 555 sayılı Coğraii İşaretlerin akin. algun@ege. edu. tr Korunması Hakkında Kararname ile başlayıp 10.01.2017 tarihli Resmi Gazete'de yayımlanarak yürürlüğe giren 6769 sayılı Sınai Mülkiyet Kanunu'na kadar geçen sürede, Türkiye'de coğraii işaretler konusunda yaşanan Geliş Tarihi: 12. 07.20] gelişmeler ve yaratılan ekonomik değer tartışılmaktadır. Son olarak, önümüzdeki dönemde coğrafi işaretli ürün Kabul Tarihi: 23.09.2017 sayısının nasıl daha da artırılabileceği konusunda öneriler getirilmektedir. Coğrafi işaretlerin yararları ve gelişmeye etkilerinin anlaşılmasıyla ülkemizde daha da yaygınlaşacağı düşünülmektedir.
In this study, the geographical indications that are extremely important for the purposes such as preserving traditional cultures, promoting local and rural development, protecting small producers and improving product quality are examined. Firstly, the geographical indication system used in an international context and the economic value created by this system are analyzed. Then, the developments in geographical indications and the economic value created in Turkey are discussed during the period from Decree-Law No. 555 on the Protection of Geographical lndications published in 1995 to Law No. 6769 on Industrial Property Which Was published in the Official Gazette dated January 10, 2017. Lastly, suggestions are made on how to increase the number of geographically 1abe1ed products in the upcoming period. It is thought that it Will become more widespread in our country after understanding the benefits of geographical indications and their effects on development.
