The aim of this study to evaluate of fatigue and quality of life in patients with chronic hepatitis B. Among the patients who admitted to the Ege University Gastroenterology Clinic Hepatology Polyclinic, 206 patients with chronic hepatitis B infections who were eligible for inclusion and volunteer for participation were included in the scope of this research. The data obtained in the study were collected by face to face interview technique, in which "Patient Presentation Form", "Fatigue Impact Scale" and "Hepatitis B Quality of Life Scale" were used, are obtained with ethics committee approval and permissions from institution and participants. It was determined that the mean age of the sample patients was 49.55±11.15 where 55.8% were male, 88.3% were married, 87.9% were children, 32.0% were primary school graduates and 60.7% were unemployed. 38.3% of the patients had comorbidities and 48.1% had drug treatment. According to the results; the mean score of "Fatigue Impact Scale" was 18.24±1.51, and the mean score of "Hepatitis B Quality of Life Scale" was 4.39±0.04. Gender, age, educational status, lifestyle and comorbidity are factors affecting fatigue; age, presence of children, lifestyle and hospitalization status were evaluated as factors affecting quality of life. A significant correlation between quality of life and fatigue were seen in the results.
