Özet
İzmir’de Türk Sanat Müziği dinleyicisinin müzik dinleme ihtiyacını karşılamada, müzik beğenisine hitap etmede ezici çoğunluğu Türk Sanat Müziği amatör müzik toplulukları oluşturur. İzmir’in müzik yaşamında ve insanların yaşamında önemli bir yere sahip olan, her geçen gün sayıca artış gösteren söz konusu toplulukların sayısı 2018 yılı itibariyle yüz elli tanedir. Bu makalenin amacı, Türk Sanat Müziği amatör topluluklarının varlık sebebini, insanların ve İzmir’in müzik yaşantısındaki yerini/önemini anlamaya yöneliktir. Bu çalışma için elli adet koro referans alındı. Referans alınan elli adet koronun konser öncesi provalarına ve konserlerine katılarak, gözlem, görüşme ve anket yöntemiyle elde edilen veriler, sosyalleşeme, kentleşme, modernleşme, yalnızlık gibi ilişkili kavramlarla analiz edildi. Aralarında yapı, nitelik ve işlev açısından herhangi bir fark bulunmamasına rağmen amatör müzik toplulukları kendilerini koro, dernek, cemiyet, topluluk olarak tanımladığı için metin içinde koro, dernek, cemiyet, topluluk sözcükleri eş anlamlı kullanıldı. Araştırma isim belirtmeme şartıyla yürütüldüğü için, çalışmada hiçbir koro şefinin, koronun, koristin ismi belirtilmedi.
The overwhelming majority of the institutions that meet the needs of the Turkish art music oriented audiences in İzmir are the amateur music ensembles. As of 2018, the number of these ensembles having increased significantly in İzmir's music life and in the lives of people is one hundred and fifty. The aim of this article is to understand the purpose of the existence of these Turkish Art Music amateur ensembles and their place / importance for people and music life in İzmir. Fifty choirs were taken as reference for this study. These choirs were analysed according to concepts such as socialization, urbanization, modernization, loneliness via the data obtained by observation, interview and questionnaire methods during the pre-concert rehearsals and concerts. Due to the fact that amateur music ensembles define themselves as choirs, associations, societies and communities, choruses, associations, societies; these words were used synonymously in the text, although there is no difference in structure, quality and function. The study doesn’t specify any names and venues as it was conducted on condition that no choir chief and the name of the choir to be revealed.
