Özet
Fasioliazis, karaciğer paraziti olan Fasiola hepatika ile oluşan, daha çok koyun ve sığırların konak olduğu ve büyük ekonomik kayıplara yol açabilen önemli bir hayvan hastalığıdır. İnsanlar rastlantısal olarak, kistik organizmaları taşıyan pişmemiş su ürünlerini yemeleri ile konak olurlar. Bu makalede literatür ışığında gözden geçirilen her üç olgumuz fasioli-azisin geniş klinik ve histopatolojik spektrumunu göstermektedir.
Fascioliasis is a zoonotic disease caused by the trematode Fasciola hepa-tica, a liver fluke. Its usual hosts are sheep and cattle, in which it causes a disease of economic importance. Humans are accidental hosts who be­come infected after eating uncooked aquatic plants on which encysted organisms are present.The three patients described here in a review of the literature demonstrate the broad clinical and histopathological spect­rum of fascioliasis.
