Özet
Çevre muhasebesi, işletmelerin çevresel ve ekonomik performansını artırmak için önemli bir yönetim aracıdır. Çevre muhasebesi işletmelere, rasyonel çevresel kararların alınmasında, çevresel stratejilerin belirlenmesinde, çevresel maliyetlerin yönetilmesinde ve çevresel performansın raporlanmasında yararlı bilgiler sağlar. Bu çalışmada, işletmelerin çevre muha- sebesi konularına yaklaşımları araştırılmış, İzmir İli’nde farklı sektörlerde faaliyet gösteren işletmelere uygulanan anket çalışmasının istatistiksel sonuçları değerlendirilmiştir.
Environmental accounting is an important management tool to improve the environmental and economic performance of enterprises. It provides enterprises with useful information in taking rational environmental decisions, determining environmental strategies, managing environmental costs and reporting environmental performance. The approaches of enterprises towards environmental accounting subjects are investigated in this study. The statistical results of a survey carried out on enterprises in different sectors within İzmir province were evaluated and reviewed.
