Kırım Zamanlarına Göre Şark Tipi Tütünün Bazı Kalite Parametrelerinin Belirlenmesi

Özet
Bu araştırma; Türkiye’de, Ege Bölgesi’nde şark tipi tütünün yetiştirildiği Uşak ili, Eşme, Sivaslı, Ulubey ve Karahallı ilçelerindeki tütün yetiştiricisi üreticilerin tarlalarında, şark tipi tütünlerinin bazı kalite özelliklerini belirlemek amacıyla 2017 yılında yürütülmüştür. Bu amaca yönelik olarak, 40 üreticiden iki farklı kırım zamanlarında yaprak örnekleri alınmıştır. Alınan tütün yaprak örneklerinde; klor (Cl), kül, nikotin ve toplam indirgen şeker ile yaprak renk değerleri (L*, a*, b*) analizleri yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre Şark tipi tütünlerin, birinci kırım ve ikinci kırım yapraklarının sırasıyla; Cl içeriği % 0.09-0.41 ve % 0.10-0.55, kül miktarı % 12.8-23.1 ve % 12.2-22.5, toplam indirgen şeker içeriği % 12.90-32.48 ve % 13.15-31.08 arasında değişim göstermiştir. Nikotin içeriği, ikinci kırım tütünlerde % 0.28-0.86 değeri ile birinci kırım örneklerden (% 0.19-0.74) daha yüksek bulunmuştur. Birinci ve ikinci kırım tütün yapraklarındaki sırasıyla; L* parametresi 48.25-72.30 ve 47.24-70.05, a* değeri -4.85-5.25 ve -4.25-7.12, b* değeri 28.12-45.45 ve 31.83-47.71 arasında değişim göstermiştir. Birinci ve ikinci kırım tütün yaprak örneklerinde belirlenen bazı parametreler arasındaki korelasyon katsayıları, istatistiki olarak anlamlı bulunmuştur.
This study was conducted to investigate quality parameters of oriental-type tobaccos over the fields of tobacco growers in Eşme, Sıvaslı, Ulubey and Karahallı towns of Uşak province, in which oriental-type tobacco is grown, in Aegean Region of Turkey in 2017. Tobacco leaf samples were taken from the fields of 40 growers at two different harvest dates. Samples were subjected to chlorine (Cl), ash, nicotine, total reduced sugar, and color (L*, a*, b*) analyses. The first and second harvest Cl contents of oriental tobaccos varied between 0.09 - 0.41% and 0.10 - 0.55%, ash contents between 12.8 - 23.1% and 12.2 - 22.5%, total reduced sugar contents between 12.90 - 32.48% and 13.15-31.08%, respectively. Nicotine contents were greater in the second harvest (between 0.28-0.86%) than in the first harvest (0.19-0.74%).
