dc.description.abstract | A series of new electron rich olefins $(=CNR(CH_2)_4NR)_2$, 3, (a; R = $CH_2C_6H_5$, b; R = $CH_2C_6H_4$-OMe-p, c; R = $CH_2C_6H_4-NMe_2-p$) was generated via the condensation of $RNH(CH_2)_4NHR$ with $Me_2.NCH (OMe)_2$. the C=C bond cleavage reactions of 3 with S8 and Se provide a simple and straight-forward method for the synthesis of 1,3-diazepan-2-chalcogenones 4 and 5, respectively. | en_US |
