Recent developments and trends in biomedical sensors

The aim of this paper is to give brief information on recent developments and trends in biomedical sensors. We also tried to reveal the close correlation between biomedical sensors and smart (intelligent) textiles. We emphasized on the concept of wearable, as we have considered this notion the transition zone between the contemporary biomedical sensors and smart (intelligent) textiles. © 2004 Elsevier Ltd.
