Özet
Larva kalitesi, başarılı karides yetiştiriciliğini etkileyen anahtar faktörlerden birisidir.İyi kalitedeki karides yavrularından sadece yüksek büyüme oranlan elde edilmez aynı zamanda düşük ölüm oranlarının görülmesine neden olur. Büyüme ve ölüm oranlan yetiştiricilik yapılan havuzlarda üretimi doğrudan etkileyen önemli iki etkendir. Larva kalitesi, kuluçka kriterleri ve stres test yöntemleri uygulanarak ya da gözle ve ışık mikroskobu yardımıyla yapılan gözlemler ile belirlenebilmektedir.
The larval quality is one of the key factors influencing successful shrimp culture. Good quality shrimp fry do not only give a high growth rate, but also have a low mortality rate. The rates of growth and mortality constitute two factors that directly influence the pond production. Identification of larval quality can be obtained by using hatchery criteria and stress tests methods or observation the naked eye and with the aid of a light microscope.
