Hemşirelerin İzolasyon Önlemlerine Uyumları ve Etkileyen Faktörlerin Değerlendirilmesi: İzmir Örneği

Özet
Amaç: Araştırma hemşirelerin izolasyon önlemlerine uyumları ve etkileyen faktörlerin değerlendirilmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Yöntem: Araştırma örneklemini İzmir’de iki hastanede çalışan 333 hemşire oluşturmuştur. Veriler literatür doğrultusunda geliştirilen anket formu ve İzolasyon Önlemlerine Uyum Ölçeği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Bulgular: Hemşirelerin izolasyon önlemlerine uyumu ölçek toplam puan ortalaması 75,52±11,91 saptanmış olup, eğitim durumu, cinsiyet ve çalışılan birim izolasyon önlemlerine uyumu etkileyen faktörler olarak bulunmuştur. Hemşirelerin en sık malzeme eksikliğinden dolayı izolasyon önlemlerini uygulamada sıkıntı yaşadıkları saptanmış- tır. Sonuç: Hemşirelerin izolasyon önlemleri ile ilgili bilgilerinin hizmet içi eğitimlerle desteklenmesinin ve hastaneler- deki eksik malzemelerin temininin sağlanmasının önemli olduğu düşünülmektedir.
Objective: the research was carried out to evaluate the compliance of the nurses to isolation precautions and relvant effective factors. Method: the sample of research was composed of 333 nurses working in two hospitals in Izmir. Data were collec- ted with questionnaire form in accordance with the literature and Scale of Compliance with Isolation Precautions Results: the total mean score of the nurses was 75.52±11.91 and education level, gender and working unit were found to be important factors affecting compliance. It was determined that nurses experienced difficulties in imp- lementing isolation measures most frequently due to the lack of necessary material. Conclusion: It is thought that it is important to increase the knowledge of nurses about isolation precautions thro- ugh in-service educations and to ensure the provision of required equipment in hospitals.
