Gebelikteki uterin leiomyomaların komplikasyonlarını ve kliniksel önemini araştırmak için 1988-1994 yıllarında yatarak tedavi gören uterin leiomyomalı 73 gebe kadın retrospektif olarak incelendi. Bu çalışmada gebelikteki leiomyomalarla, abortus imminens, geç gestoz, plasenta! yetersizlik, malprezantasyon, düşük doğum kilosu arasında ayrıca retroplasenter leiomyomalarla da erken doğum tehditi arasında anlamlı ilişkiler bulundu. Gebelikteki myomlarm doğum modelini ve plasen¬tanın ayrılma şeklini etkilediği saptandı.
Seventy three pregnant women with uterine leiomyoma hospitalized between 1988 and 1994 were examined retrospectively to research complications and clinical significance of uterine leiomyomas in pregnancy. In this study significant relationships were found between leiomyomas with abortus imminens, late gestose, placental insufficiency, malpresentation, low birth weight and also between retroplacenter leiomyomas with premature labor. It was concluded that leiomyomas in pregnancy influenced the model of delivery and the type of separation of placenta.
