Özet
Sistematik yerleri ve gelişmeleri nedeniyle oldukça önemli bir konumda olan Tunikatların Ascidiacea klassisi ile ilişkili Türkiye'de yapılmış sınırlı sayıda çalışma vardır. Ascidian sınıflandırmasını esas alan çok az yayın bulunmakta, dağılımlarıyla ilgili bilgiler ise diğer denizel ortam canlılarını değerlendiren çalışmalardan elde edilmektedir. Bu derlemede şimdiye kadar Türkiye denizlerinde rastlanan örneklerin sistematik ayırımlarını belirlemeye yardımcı olacak bilgilerin sunulması amaçlanmıştır. Ascidian'larda bu ayırım için dikkate alınması gereken temel özellikleri üzerinde durulmuş ve familya düzeyinde belirlemeyi sağlayacak bir tayin anahtarı verilmiştir.
There are limited studies in Turkey on the tunicates, related to the Ascidiacea classis, which are important because of their systematic positions and developments. There are few studies that deal with classification of ascidian and the knowledge about their distributions are evaluated* with the studies of other marine organisms. The aim of this study is to explain the distinctive features that will be useful to determine the taxonomy of ascidians. The basic characteristics which must be considered will be mentioned and a key to family will be given.
