Özet
The antifungal effects of leaf extracts of some cultivated plants and also annual and perennial plants belonging to the natural flora of the Aegean region were tested in vitro against the plant pathogens Alternaria alternata, A. solani, Botrytis cinerea and Drechslera sorokiniana. The extracts were prepared in water having room temperature; Spore germination, colony growth and sporulation density of the test fungi were measured on PDA added with the extract. Spore germination was inhibited strongly by Hedera helix extracts followed by the extract of Datura stramonium. H. helix extracts also nhibited the colonial growth of the pathogens highly. Ficus carica and Avena sativa extracts were also found to be effective on colony development on different levels. the sporulation ability of the fungi was effected by a wide range of extracts prepared from the leaves of A. sativa, X. Strumarium, F. carica, Nicotiana tabacum and D. stramonium.
