Özet
Percutaneous surgery has historically been approached almost exclusively using antegrade access techniques. With the development of more functional flexible ureteroscopy, it is possible to combine a retrograde and antegrade approach to potentially make difficult access less challenging and more efficient. Additional benefits may include limiting the number of access tracts required, decreasing fluoroscopy exposure, and enhancing lithotripsy and stone manipulation by providing dual treatment options. Herein we describe the technique and literature associated with retrograde techniques for percutaneous renal surgery. © 2012 Blackwell Publishing Ltd.
