Özet
New yarn constructions with different yarn components are useful for improving yarn structure and properties. Therefore production of new fabric constructions with elastic core yams are getting more popular for the knitting and weaving industry. In this article a new core yarn production method by a modified open end rotor spinning frame are explained. Rieter Basetex BT 904, and Saurer BD 340 Filea are the first rotor spun core yarn spinning machines on the market. Some general properties of these machines are described.
