Balık yetiştirme çiftliklerinde ağ kafeslerin tuzak olarak kullanımı üzerine bir ön çalışma

Özet
Ağ kafes ünitelerinde balıkların yemlenmesi sırasında kafeslerden ortama bir miktar balık yemi yayılmaktadır. Yayılan bu yem sebebi ile kafes dışındaki pek çok balık o alana gelmektedir. Bu çalışmada, yetiştiriciliği yapılan kafeslerdeki balıklara zarar vermeden, bölgede toplanan balıkların, mümkün olan en uygun yöntemle avlanması amaçlanmıştır. Bu çalışma Muğla ili, Milas ilçesi, Zeytinlikuyu mevkiinde bulunan Alagün Koyu'nda Nisan 1998-Mart 1999 tarihleri arasında yürütülmüştür. Tuzaklarla kefal (Mugil sp.), sarpa (Sarpa salpa Linnaeus, 1758) ve ısparoz (Diplodus annularis Linnaeus, 1758) gibi türler yakalanmıştır. En çok yakalanan balıklar ise kefal türleridir. Yakalanan kefal türlerinden Liza saliens Risso,1810'da maksimum çatal boy 31.5 cm ve 243.79 g ağırlık, minimum 16.2 cm boy ve 33.16 g ağırlık Mugil cephalus Linnaeus, 1758'da maksimum çatal boy 39.5 cm ve 651.26 g ağırlık, minimum 17.8 cm boy ve 56.90 g ağırlıkta tespit edilmiştir. Toplamda 87.123 kg balık yakalanmış olup bunların 85.659 kg'ı kefal türleridir.
In the net cage units, lots of fish food are spread out to the area when fishes are feeding. So, many other fishes come to the area, because of spreading food. In this study, it is purposed that catching the fishes, gathering in the area by much suitable methods. This study are conducted in the Alagun Bay in Muğla between April 1998-March 1999. Grey mullet (Mugil sp.), salema (Sarpa salpa Linnaeus, 1758), annular sea bream (Diplodus annularis Linnaeus, 1758), are caught by the trap. But the most caught species is the grey mullet. Among the mullet species, grey mullet (Liza saliens Risso, 1810) has 31.5 cm max. fork length and 243.79 g max. weight, min. 16.2 cm fork length and 33.16 g min weight, Striped Mulled (Mugil cephalus Linnaeus, 1758) has max. 39.5 cm fork length and 651.26 g max. weight, min. 17.8 cm fork length and 56.90 g min. weight. In totaly 87.123 kg fish has been caught and 85.659 kg of these are Mugil species'.
