Özet
Purpose of Review: This review examines the current literature on the approach to endodontic treatment in patients with chronic kidney disease. Recent Findings: Chronic kidney disease patients tend to have prolonged bleeding, odontogenic infection, and hypertension. In addition, drugs used during endodontic treatment procedures can lead to serious complications in these patients. Summary: During the endodontic treatment, awareness of the proper procedures for the medical management of chronic kidney disease and the pharmacokinetics of commonly used dental medicaments are important to ensure the safe treatment of these patients. Consultation with the nephrologists before the endodontic treatment is essential for treating chronic kidney disease patients properly. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.
