Yoğun bakım hemşirelerinin psikolojik dayanıklılık düzeyi ve merhamet yorgunluğu arasındakı ilişkinin incelenmesi

Özet
Cerrahi yoğun bakım hemşirelerinin psikolojik dayanıklılık düzeyi ve merhamet yorgunluğu arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel türdeki bu araştırma Kasım 2022 - Aralık 2022 tarihleri arasında İzmir Sağlık Bilimleri Üniversitesi Tepecik Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi cerrahi yoğun bakımlarda çalışan 145 hemşire ile gerçekleştirildi. Verilerin toplanmasında; sosyodemografik verileri içeren "Birey Tanılama Formu", "Merhamet Yorgunluk Ölçeği:", "Psikolojik Dayanıklılık Ölçeği" kullanıldı. Veriler, sayı, yüzde, ortalama, standart sapma, Mann Whitnye U Testi, Kruskal Wallis H Testi, Bonferroni Posthoc Testi, Spearman's Korelasyon ile analiz edildi. Araştırmaya katılan cerrahi yoğun bakım hemşirelerinin yaş ortalaması 30,20 ± 5,48'dur. Cerrahi yoğun bakım hemşirelerinin %66,2'si kadın, %82.1'ı lisans mezunudur ve klinikte çalışma süreleri ortalama 3 yıldır. Cerrahi yoğun bakım hemşirelerinin psikolojik dayanıklılık ölçeği toplam puan ortalaması 116,66±17,76, merhamet yorgunluğu ölçeği toplam puan ortalaması 58,72±17,69'dur. Cerrahi yoğun bakım hemşirelerinin psikolojik dayanıklılık ölçeği ile merhamet yorgunluğu ölçeği arasında negatif yönde zayıf ilişki vardır
Examining the relationship between the psychological resilience level and compassion fatigue of surgical intensive care nurses . This descriptive and cross-sectional research was conducted with 145 nurses working in surgical intensive care units of the Izmir Health Sciences University Tepecik Training and Research Hospital between November 2022 and December 2022. In collecting data; "Individual Identification Form", "Compassion Fatigue Scale", "Psychological Resilience Scale", which includes sociodemographic data, were used. Data were analyzed by number, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Mann Whitnye U Test, Kruskal Wallis H Test, Bonferroni Posthoc Test, Spearman's Correlation. The mean age of the surgical intensive care nurses who participated in the study was 30.20 ± 5.48 years. Of the surgical intensive care nurses, 66.2% were female, 82.1% had a bachelor's degree, and their average working time in the clinic was 3 years. The mean total score of the psychological resilience scale of surgical intensive care nurses was 116.66 ± 17.76, and the mean total score of the compassion fatigue scale was 58.72 ± 17.69. There is a weak negative relationship between the psychological resilience scale and compassion fatigue scale of surgical intensive care nurses. It was determined that compassion fatigue increased as the psychological resilience of surgical intensive care nurses participating in the study decreased.
