Özet
Wegener's Granulomatosis (WG) is a chronic granulomatous vasculitis involving primarily respiratory system, kidneys and occasionally other organ systems. Necrotizing granulomas effecting upper and lower airways, systemic vasculitis and glomerulonephritis are the classic triad of the disease. Although the certain etiology is unknown; presence of autoantibodies encourage the autoimmune pathogenesis. c-ANCA (cytoplasmic pattern of antineutrophilic antibody), is an autoantibody which is spesific for the diagnosis and follow up. Although 6-13% of the patients have oral lesions; these are rarely the initial finding of the disease. Multiorgan involvement and immunosuppressive treatment are the major cause of mortality and morbidity. Here, we report a case of Wegener's Granulomatosis who presented with oral ulcerations.
