Özet
Bu çalışmada iki hasat (2001 - 2002 ve 2002 - 2003) yılı süresince İzmir İlinde üretilen natürel zeytinyağlarının yağ asitleri bileşenlerine göre kemometrik yöntemlerle (Temel Bileşenler, PCA ve Ayırma Analizleri, DA) sınıflandırılması gerçekleştirilmiştir. İki hasat sezonu boyunca toplam 106 adet yağ örneği incelenmiştir. Örnekler işletmeler, markalı firmalar ve İzmir yarımadası olarak üç grupta toplanmıştır. Ayırma (DA) analizi sonucunda, iki hasat yılı için tahmin edilmiş gruplandirma sonuçlarına göre birinci hasat yılı için örnekler, % 85.7; ikinci yıl için ise % 84.4 oranında doğru bir şekilde ayrılmıştır. Tahmin edilmiş en iyi gruplandirma İzmir Yarımadası örneklerinde görülmüştür (% 86 ve % 84). Örnekleri en iyi tanımlayan yağ asitleri bileşenleri margarik (MG), margoleik (MGO), stearik (S), oleik (O) asitlerdir.
In this study, fatty acids composition of virgin olive oils produced in Izmir province during two crop years (2001-2002 and 2002 -2003) were classified by chemometrical methods (Principal Component Analysis, PCA and Discriminant Analysis, DA). Total 106 oil samples were examined in the course of two crop years. the samples were divided into three groups as olive oil factories, labelled oils and Izmir peninsula. in consequence of discriminat analysis (DA), the predicted grouping in the terms of two crop years were correctly seperated as 85.7 % of the samples for the first crop year and 84.8 % of the samples for the second crop year. the highest level of predicted grouping was found for the samples of Izmir peninsula (as 86 % and 84%). Margaric, margoleic, steraic and oleic acids were determined as the best describing components for the oil samples.
