Özet
Eskisubaşı Geç Miyosen'inden Phoca sp. ye atfedilen bir pinniped kalıntısı tanımlanmıştır. Phoca sp. Cetotherium sp. ile birlikte bulunmuştur. Bu sucul formlar Eskisubaşı'nda denizel yaşamın varlığını gösterirler.
A pinniped remain referred to Phoca sp. from the Late Miocene of Eskisubaşı is described. It was found associated with Cetotherium sp. These aquatic forms indicate the presence of marine life in Eskisubaşı.
