Özet
Günümüzde insanların büyük bir kısmı ekonomik, eğitim, sağlık ve sosyal nedenlerden dolayı kentlerde yaşamaktadır. İnsan doğanın bir parçası olduğundan dolayı sürekli olarak doğaya özlem duymaktadır. Bu durumda da kentsel yeşil alanlar insan ile doğa arasında bir bağ oluşturmaktadır. kentsel yeşil alanlar sosyal ve psikolojik, ekolojik, fiziksel ve ekonomik işlevlerden dolayı kentlerin vazgeçilemez bir parçasıdır. Bu araştırmada da İzmir ili Bayındır ilçesi kentsel yeşil alanlarının yeterliliği ve geliştirilebilme olanakları araştırılmış, mevcut durum ve standartlar arasında karşılaştırmalar yapılmış ve ilçenin kamusal-kentsel yeşil alanlarının genel durumu ortaya konulmuştur. Elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda gerekli öneriler sunulmuştur.
Nowadays, most of the people are living in cities for the reasons such as economic opportunities, education, health and social needs. As a result of being a part of the nature, human being has always an aspiration to the nature. At this fact, urban green areas generate a relation between human being and the nature. Because of their social and psychological, ecologic, physiological and economic functions, urban green areas are indispensable parts of cities. In this study, the sufficiency of urban green areas of Bayındır town in İzmir city and the other possibilities for developing them are researched, the current situation and standards are compared and the general conditions of public- urban green areas are presented. In the light of data obtained, different suggestions are given.
