Soil end climatical requ irements s root systems and uster uptakp, water consumption, weter - yield and w?itrr - quality relationships, irrigation scheduling, irrigation, methods, irrigation water requirements uere treated in - de tails. Then ecccrding to these information on irrigation, schedule for the olive in Bornova conditions were prepared According to the irrigation schedule- in Bornove, conditions seasonal net and cross water requirements of o- livprhss been determined 531,1 mm. end 708,7 mm. respecti vely. It has been nlso determined that 8 etppl i cat ions cf irrigation to he applied in 5 and 25 3une9 8, 18 end 28.luly, ID and 26 August, and 26 September uill be enaugh, for optimum yield and quality.
