Özet
Water is the basic material of the textile finishing liquor. It is demanded that the water used in textile finishing processes, has got specific properties. Among these properties, water hardness is one of the primary parameters which determines the product quality. The sequestering agents prevent the precipitation of metal ions by forming stable and water soluble complexes with ions which cause water hardness. In this article, complexion and dispersing properties of sequestering agents are dwelled upon.
